About the Product:

This porcelain rice cup is made with an ancient Chinese technique called rice grain, chicco di riso in Italian. Rice-grain porcelain is a specialized type of ceramic process developed by Chinese potters 700 years ago. During moulding, each dish is punctured with a sharp object, usually in the shape of a tiny grain of rice, and decorated for a translucent feel. The end result is often remarked as "ceramic embroidery".

Made from the highest quality porcelain, Chicco di Riso has a modern simple shape and a total white luxurious look. The contrast between glazed and unglazed finishes creates a brilliant sheen which is unparalleled and exclusive. The Chicco di Riso rice cup is an essential, but absolutely classy.

Complete the Chicco di Riso look with matching dinner plates and soup & pasta bowls. For a more fashion-forward look, pair these cups with our Cuore black slate boards.
