About the Product:

In line with the new style "Chic and Raw" and with design trends aiming to rediscover pure and natural materials, each Motivi wooden bowl is cut from individual red oak and maplewood trees and has a distinctive look, design and texture that is impossible to replicate due to its organic nature.

Your guests will not resist the urge to touch the beautiful wood reliefs and luxurious textures. They'll also be impressed by the incredible lightness of each bowl.

About the Collection:

Saying that Alexander Ortlieb has a passion for woodworking would be an understatement. Based in the Black Forest region of Germany, Alexander is an artisan with over 40 years of experience designing, handcrafting, and finishing tableware made from the highest-quality virgin wood.

His production process is both incredibly meticulous and time consuming. He starts by sourcing the best wood from the trunks of several trees, namely the tulip tree, ashwood, red oak, and maplewood. Then after hand sculpting each piece, he uses specially-designed woodworking tools to create the ridged, interesting textures indicative of his works.

Each piece is one of a kind.
