About the Product:
Liberty is a luxury home tabletop collection. The Italian manufacturer developed an innovative production process creating a fusion of pewter with ceramic. It is told that the aim was to respond to the needs of a famous ship owner. The designer built a pewter rim around the dishes so that they wouldn’t break during the elegant dinners on luxury cruises. Whatever is the story, the result is not only functional, because the rim, encased in the porcelain, allows the metallic color to glisten creating a shimmering surface.
Liberty retro modern style is perfect for a stunning holiday gathering, or for a refined and exclusive dinner. The company pewter hallmark adds charm and preciousness to the whole collection.
Liberty features a dinner plate and a side plate. Available other elements on demand (i.e. pasta bowls, side bowls and serveware).
About the Collection:
Started in Venice, the Italian production of pewter slowly moved to a town near Milan called Brescia. It is here that in 1954 Bruno Cosi and his nephew Sergio Tabellini, father of the current owners, started a family workshop. Today the company exports his products all over the world furnishing luxury hotels, restaurant, houses and villas. But it has never lost its traditional craftsmanship art and family values.
Each piece has a distinctive touchmark upon it, showcasing a thistle – the company emblem - and guaranteeing the authenticity of the product.
