About the Product:

The Japanese word “oru” (to fold) is the essence of this collection which is a true work of craftsmanship and art. Together with the word “kami” (paper) it becomes the word “origami”.

Each cup is a thin sheet of Limoges porcelain folded by hand like an origami. The black and orange glitters on the bisque surface create an elegant look and a unique tactile sensation.

Designed for daily use, Oru cups are sold in a set of two.

If made to order ships in 3-4 weeks.

NOTE: Possible imperfections are due to the handmade nature of each item.

About the Collection:

The objects created by this contemporary porcelain studio in northern Italy are simply amazing. Each piece is unique and precious. The artist plays with porcelain challenging shapes, transparency and consistency beyond the limits of the material. The result is a collection of the finest tabletop you can ever imagine owning. Regardless of the apparent fragility and ethereal appearance, each porcelain item is absolutely strong and durable over time.
