About the Product:

These handcrafted wooden salad bowls reflect the beauty and perfection of nature, and indicate a lifestyle that loves to use nice things daily, not just on special occasions.

Note the warmth of the colors, the irregular texture of the wood and the innovative and trendy design.

A precious object of art that adorns your table, made by the "wood stylist" Alexander Ortlieb.

About the Collection:

Saying that Alexander Ortlieb has a passion for woodworking would be an understatement. Based in the Black Forest region of Germany, Alexander is an artisan with over 40 years of experience designing, handcrafting, and finishing tableware made from the highest quality virgin wood.

His production process is both incredibly meticulous and time consuming. He starts by sourcing the best wood from the trunks of several trees, namely the tulip tree, ashwood, red oak, and maplewood. Then after hand sculpting each piece, he uses specially-designed woodworking tools to create the ridged, interesting textures indicative of his works.

Each piece is one of a kind.
